Dr. Polansky completed his medical education at Boston University in 1980. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Interventional Radiology at the University of California, San Diego, from 1980 to 1984.
Following his training, Dr. Polansky entered private practice in Northern San Diego County, where he practiced at two hospitals until his retirement in 2011. During this period, he served as a managing partner of Valley Radiology Medical Consultants, Inc. Under his leadership, the interventional radiology practice expanded from a single physician to a five-physician group in just over seven years.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Polansky performed well over 100 suprapubic catheter placements using interventional radiology techniques, giving him extensive hands-on experience in minimally invasive urologic procedures.
After relocating to Montana, Dr. Polansky met Ron Zook approximately 20 years ago. Upon seeing the TSPeC device, he immediately recognized it as a paradigm-shifting innovation in medicine. He invested in the company and, two years later, joined its Medical Advisory Board.
